Laura Shelton

A fascination with human behavior — why people do what they do — inspired Laura to pursue Human Resources and, along the way, to earn a Master’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology. In an effort to humanize the profession, she brings compassion and a refreshing perspective to the day-to-day, along with a masterful understanding of the top-to-bottom operations of businesses big and small.   Her ability to encourage direct conversation serves to unwind knots so that policies can reflect and protect the workspace at hand. Experience has taught her that holding space for challenging topics elevates a team to its highest potential. Choosing to believe that we are all doing our best allows her to connect with her client’s primary motivation. At the end of the day, shining light on truth and intention paves the way for clear communication, a healthy work culture, and a thriving organization. Her guiding principle can be summed up with the phrase, “Clarity is kindness.”

Laura loves relaxing at home with her husband, two children, and their adopted cat, Willow. She feeds her fascination with social psychology by reading inspirational memoirs and publications by research professors.
