Dawn Barnes

Inspired by science and systems and fueled by a passion for helping people learn and grow, Dawn employs her vast experience in HR to help find the vision through the minutiae of work and life. She partners with leaders to identify the strengths in their teams and turn their “problem finders” into problem solvers. She believes that when people can step back and shift their awareness, then they can start to see patterns in their reactions and behaviors. Her calm, kind demeanor and thoughtful and open approach to conversation foster a sense of trust almost immediately, and her steady persistence earns confidence from all walks of life. She listens carefully and finds common threads, and she uses the subsequent clarity to coach and develop successful leaders and teams. Dawn’s goal is to work to build better bosses and organizations through effective communication and straightforward HR processes and programs in order to create more team engagement.

At home, creating order out of chaos in her garden brings Dawn joy, and getting outside for a hike or a bike ride re-energizes her. When she’s not connecting with nature, she also enjoys a good mystery/thriller novel.
